Shipping Policy

FREE STANDARD SHIPPING

We offer free standard shipping on all our orders.  We appreciate your patience as we strive to get your order to you as quickly as possible. Standard shipping times also includes the processing time to ensure the order is correct and the fragile items are carefully packaged.  Since most of our items are handmade, we may run low on stock from time to time and may incur additional processing time to fulfill your order. For these reasons shipping times currently range from 7-14 days depending on where the order is being shipped. 

STANDARD INSURED SHIPPING

We also offer a standard insured shipping option for a nominal fee.  Should anything happen to your order while in transit, we will either refund your order entirely or ship you a replacement at no additional cost to you.  


ORDER TRACKING

As soon as your order has been fulfilled you will receive an email with tracking number and if you provided a phone number when you placed your order, you will also receive an SMS message with tracking info.  You can also go directly to our website and scroll to the bottom of the page on the footer for the “Track Your Package” link.  This will provide you with up-to-date tracking information on your package.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?

Most of our products are handcrafted and take time for our artisans to create.  They are works of art and are not something that can be rushed.  Additionally most of our handcrafted teaware are authentically created by overseas artisans who've spent years training in the art.  In order to keep our prices as low as possible and be able to provide better wages to our artisans, shipping from overseas can take 1-2 weeks.  Please remember that "Good things come to those who wait".   Once you place your order you will receive tracking info which allows you to track more accurately your expected delivery date.  Unless explicitly stated your product includes standard shipping, due to the popularity of our offers, please allow an estimated 1-2 weeks for your order to arrive (varies from product to product). 

SPECIAL SHIPPING NOTICE FOR HOLIDAY TIMES (November 15th through December 31st)  Due to very high order volumes during this time, processing and shipping delays can happen.  If you order after November 15th, we cannot guarantee that you will receive your order by Christmas.  

SPECIAL SHIPPING NOTICE FOR ASSORTED TEAS  Because teas are classified as a food product they are subject to stricter and more unpredictable export/import controls.  Unfortunately we are currently seeing shipping times from 30-45 days.  Please take that into consideration when ordering.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ORDER GETS STUCK OR LOST IN THE MAIL?

If an order gets sent back or even lost during the delivery process, we apologize! The postal service is out of our control. However, if you selected "Insured" shipping during checkout, rest assured that your packages are insured, we will send you a new replacement at no cost to you.  If you have not purchased the insured shipping it is at our sole discretion to send a free replacement.  Please see our refund and return policy for when these might be applicable to shipping situations.

Packages are deemed lost when the shipping company informs us the package is lost OR after 60 days from when your order was placed and the order has not been delivered.
